This 1994 Ford was purchased by the Department in November 2000 for use primarily by the First Responder service. The First Responders respond to medical emergencies as needed, often arriving precious minutes sooner than the Cleveland EMS ambulance. The truck carries the first responder equipment and is also used on other emergencies to transport firefighters to the emergency.
