Rescue Boat

This Rescue Boat by RescueOne is used during floods, as well as for rescue and recovery along the Trinity River and other waterways in the area. Its shallow-draft design and jet-propulsion allow it to travel in only six inches of water.

Below are just a sample of the emergencies that TVFD has responded to with the rescue boat. In addition to these, TVFD often patrols the Trinity River at SH105 during major holidays in the summer to try and prevent drownings.
