Monday, September 29th - At app. 7:25, Tarkington VFD was dispatched to a report of a MVA on SH105 in front of JL Enterprises. TVFD responded with Unit 502 and Engine 51 with one firefighter.
At app. 11:25, TVFD was dispatched to mutual aid Cleveland VFD with a large brush fire on SH321 near CR318. TVFD responded with Tanker 51 with one firefighter, Booster 51 with one firefighter, and Squad 51 with one firefighter.
Sunday, September 28th - At app. 12:05, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to a CPR call on CR3018. TVFD responded with Squad 51 with two firefighters, Unit 502 with one firefighter, and Unit 504 with one firefighter.
At app. 14:50, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a brush fire on CR2212. TVFD responded with Engine 52 with Unit 502 and Unit 504.

Thursday, September 25th - At app. 16:45, Tarkington VFD was dispatched to a report of a MVA on SH321 at CR312. TVFD responded with Engine 51 with three firefighters and Unit 502.
At app. 20:20, TVFD was dispatched to CR2286 for a structure fire. TVFD responded with Unit 503, Engine 51 with two firefighters, Unit 501, and Tanker 51 withUnit 504 and one firefighter to find an app. 20x20 storage shed fully involved.

Tuesday, September 23rd - At app. 16:50, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched for lift assistance on CR2281. TVFD responded with Squad 51 with two firefighters.
Monday, September 22nd - At app. 19:50, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a burn ban violation on CR2279. TVFD responded with Booster 51 with two firefighters.
Saturday, September 20th - At app. 17:20, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a report of a power line down on SH321. TVFD responded with Booster 51 with two firefighters and and Squad 51 with two firefighters.
Friday, September 19th - At app. 15:00, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a MVA on SH105 just before near CR2254. TVFD responded with Unit 502 to find a single-vehicle rollover.
At app. 18:25, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a two burn ban violations, one FM163 and the other on CR2228. TVFD responded with Booster 51 with two firefighters.
Monday, September 15th - At app. 10:20, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a MVA on SH105 just before FM2518.
Saturday, September 13th - Shortly before midnight, just as the high winds and heavy rains from Hurricane Ike were beginning to inundate the area, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a report of a structure fire at the vacant Longhorn Cafe at the intersection of SH105 and FM2518. TVFD responded with Engine 51 with Unit 504 and four firefighters, Tanker 51 with Unit 505, and Tanker 52 with Unit 502 to find the structure fully involved. Cleveland and Cypress Lakes VFDs were called to assist, but at app. 1:30, as wind speeds increased, firefighting operations ceased due to safety concerns.


Tarkington firefighters responded to many calls on Saturday, including several trees that had fallen on homes.
At app. 20:20, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a MVA involving a car striking a tree on FM787 just east of FM2518. TVFD responded with Engine 52 with Unit 502. Unit 502 and J&J Wrecker Service then removed the tree from the roadway.
Thursday, September 11th - At app. 12:15, Tarkington VFD was dispatched to a report of a power line down, causing a brush fire, on CR2306. TVFD responded with Booster 51 with Unit 502 and one firefighter and Tanker 51 with two firefighters.
At app. 19:45, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a brush fire on CR2307 at CR2293. TVFD responded with Unit 502, Booster 51 with Unit 504 and one firefighter, Tanker 51 with two firefighters, and Squad 51 with Unit 506 and two firefighters. Cypress Lakes VFD Booster 821 also responded to the call.
Wednesday, September 10th - At app. 1:45, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to CR2268 for a difficulty breathing call. TVFD responded with Squad 51 with three firefighters.
Tuesday, September 9th - At app. 13:45, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to CR2274. TVFD responded with Squad 51 with two firefighters.
At app. 14:15, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to Tarkington Intermediate School. TVFD responded with Squad 51 with two firefighters.
At app. 14:45, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a brush fire on CR2213. TVFD responded with Booster 51 with two firefighters and Tanker 52 with one firefighter.
At app. 17:45, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to a report of a 15-year old with a broken leg at the Tarkington football practice field. TVFD responded with Unit 502 and Unit 501.
At app. 19:05, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to a report of a 20-year old burn victim on SH105 just east of FM2518. TVFD responded with Squad 51 with Unit 501, Unit 506, and two firefighters.
Monday, September 8th - At app. 8:35, TVFD was dispatched to assist Cleveland VFD with a MVA on SH321 at CR318. TVFD responded with Engine 51 with one firefighter and Squad 51 with one firefighter and diverted traffic on SH321 at CR2243 (Doc Howard Road).
At app. 10:05, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a MVA on CR2285 at CR2286. TVFD responded with Engine 51 with one firefighter and Squad 51 with one firefighter.

At app. 22:55, Tarkington First Responders were dispatched to CR2235 for a report of a 30-year old female with with no feeling in her arms. TVFD responded with Unit 503 and Squad 51 with Unit 504.
Sunday, September 7th - At app. 1:30, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a report of a MVA on CR2285 at CR2278. TVFD responded with Unit 503 and Engine 51 with Unit 504 and three firefighters.
At app. 12:00, TVFD was dispatched to a report of vehicle fire on SH321 at CR2281. TVFD responded with Squad 51 with Unit 501.
Wednesday, September 3rd - At app. 22:35, Tarkington VFD was dispatched to a report a male entangled in machinery on CR306. TVFD responded with Unit 503, Unit 504, and Engine 51 with three firefighters.
