April 1991 Tarkington firefighers responded to this fire at approximately 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. The occupants were gone for the weekend and the fire was first spotted by the next-door neighbor when he went to get the morning paper. Already fully involved when first reported, there was little for firefighters to salvage.
