Monday, September 27, 2004- Tarkington firefighters responded to a one-vehicle accident on SH321 approximately eight miles south of Cleveland. TVFD responded with Units 501 and 503, Booster 55, Engine 54, and Rescue 51. The driver of a Chevrolet Suburban lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The car rolled several times. LifeFlight was called and a landing zone was setup in the roadway near the accident. City of Cleveland EMS assisted on the call.
Saturday, September 25, 2004- Tarkington Fire Department was called to respond to the scene of a one-vehicle accident on FM1008 near Luce Bayou. TVFD responded with Units 501, 503, and 504 and Booster 55. The driver of a Ford Thunderbird had lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. The car rolled several times, ejecting both occupants. LifeFlight was called and a landing zone was setup in the roadway near the accident. Kenefick VFD and Liberty County EMS assisted on the call.
