Friday, September 22nd - At app. 8:20, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a structure fire on CR2229. TVFD responded with Engine 54 with Unit 501 and one firefighter to find a fire in the clothes dryer.
At app. 23:35, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a MVA on FM163 at CR2284. TVFD responded with Unit 502, Engine 54 with four firefighters, and Rescue 51 with Unit 501 and one firefighter to find a single-vehicle rollover.

Thursday, September 21st - At app. 19:40, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a report of a MVA involving a motorcycle on CR2184. TVFD responded with Unit 502 and Engine 54 with Unit 505 and three firefighters to find a Harley-Davidson had struck a deer.
At app. 22:05, TVFD was dispatched to a report of an unknown type fire on CR2222. TVFD responded with Unit 502, Engine 54 with Unit 501 and two firefighters, and Booster 55 with three firefighters to find a large burn pile on fire in a pasture behind a home.
Wednesday, September 20th - At app. 12:15, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a plane crash on SH321 and CR2281. TVFD responded with Unit 501 to find no evidence of a plane crash, but did find the brush fire from the previous day had rekindled. TVFD then responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters and Booster 52 with two firefighters, as well as requesting mutual aid from Cleveland.
At app. 14:55, Tarkington was dispatched to a brush fire on CR2240. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with Unit 501, Booster 52 with Unit 504, and Rescue 51 with one firefighter.
At app. 17:15, TVFD was dispatched to a possible rekindle of the fire on SH321 near CR2281. TVFD responded with Unit 501 and Booster 55 with Unit 504 and one firefighter. Upon Unit 501's arrival, he disregarded all other units.
Tuesday, September 19th - At app. 14:50, Tarkington Fire Department was dispatched to a report of a building fire on SH321 near CR2247. Cleveland Fire Department had initially been dispatched to the fire and requested that Tarkington provide a brush truck to contain the brush fire that had spread from the building fire. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with Unit 504 and one firefighter.
At app. 15:20, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a brush fire on CR2173 off of FM787. TVFD responded with Booster 55 with Unit 504 and one firefighter and Engine 54 with Unit 502.
At app. 16:45, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a brush fire on SH321 near Alta Mae Ayers Road (CR2281). TVFD responded with Booster 55 with two firefighters and Unit 502. Upon Unit 502's arrival, a second tone was requested for Tarkington, as well as mutual aid from Cleveland and Kenefick Fire Departments. Engine 54 with four firefighters, Rescue 51 with two firefighters, and Booster 52 with one firefighter responded to the second tone, along with Unit 1, two brush trucks, and a tanker from Cleveland and a brush truck and a tanker from Kenefick. Smoke from the fire could be seen from several miles away.

At app. 17:35, Tarkington VFD was dispatched to setup a LZ for PHI SkyMed at SH321 and CR301N. Engine 54 with four firefighters and Rescue 51 with two firefighters were sent from the brush fire to setup the LZ.
At app. 19:35, TVFD was dispatched to a report of a rekindle from the structure fire on SH321 near CR2247. TVFD responded with Unit 502 and Engine 53 with three firefighters.
Monday, September 18th - At app. 18:00, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to mutual aid Cleveland and Splendora Fire Departments with a mobile home fire in Southern Crossing. TVFD responded with Engine 53 with Unit 502, Unit 504, Unit 505 and one firefighter. All told, three fire departments with eight firetrucks and app. thirty firefighters battled the blaze for nearly five hours before it was extinguished.
Tuesday, September 12th - At app. 15:10, TVFD was dispatched to a report of an alarm at Tarkington High School, but were disregarded prior to going enroute.
Monday, September 11th - At app. 20:40, Tarkington firefighters were dispatched to a report of a grass fire in Sam Houston Lake Estates. TVFD responded with Unit 501, Booster 55 with Unit 505 and one firefighter, and Engine 54 with Unit 502 and three firefighters. While enroute, TVFD units were informed that the fire was actually a structure fire. TVFD arrived to find the house had been demolished and been set ablaze and abandoned. TVFD extinguished the blaze.
